Barry J. Jones has been an attorney with the Washington County Public Defender’s Office since 2006.  A graduate of Cornell University at the SUNY Buffalo School of Law, Mr. Jones has been practicing in the Warren/Washington County area since 1982.  Mr. Jones is a member of the New York State Defender’s Association, the Washington County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association (including the Criminal Law and Family Law sections and is a former member of the House of Delegates.)  Until joining the Public Defender’s Office full time in 2016, Mr. Jones had a significant private practice in Family Court and Criminal Law and was a panel member for both Criminal Assigned Appeals and Attorney for the Child Program in the Third Department.
