INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kenneth D. Reed, age 35, for Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child, a class A-II Felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A Misdemeanor.

The arrest stems from a joint investigation with the Washington County Department of Social Services Child Protective Services Unit. The charges allege that Reed engaged in sexual intercourse with a child less than 13 years old. The sexual contact caused injury to the child, whom Reed was familiar with.
