INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation which ended in a felony DWI arrest. Lisa Cox, 49, of River Street in Hudson Falls was stopped for an equipment violation on her vehicle. Upon speaking to Cox, deputies noted that she appeared to be intoxicated. Cox failed several field sobriety tests before being taken into custody. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center in Fort Edward where she was processed and tested a .10% BAC. She was charged with driving while intoxicated (Felony), aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree (Felony), failure to use interlock device, along with other Vehicle and Traffic sections. She was released to a third party to appear in the Town of Kingsbury Court on a later date.

A passenger in Cox’s vehicle, Ronald Moss (51) of Hudson Falls was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. Moss was released to appear in the Town of Kingsbury Court on a later date.
