According to Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Raymond J. Quell, 34, of Greenwich.
Quell was arrested after an investigation into an incident that occurred at the Cumberland Farms Store in the Town of Kingsbury on 4/30/15.
Quell has been charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony.
He is accused of approaching a victim within the store and grabbing $40.00 cash from her hand and then running out of the store.
On 4/30/15, the Sheriff’s Office released photos of the suspect taken from store surveillance video.
As a result of the released surveillance photo, at least one person contacted the Sheriff’s Office anonymously to report that it was Quell in the photo.
