According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Sharlee A. Quinones, 28, of Old Corinth Rd Hadley, NY. Quinones was charged with obstructing governmental administration in the 2nd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, possession of a hypodermic instrument, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree and tampering with physical evidence, a class E Felony.
Also charged in the incident was Kenneth R. Sitts, 45, also of Hadley. He was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.

At about 4:00 PM on Wednesday, Deputy Don Jett stopped a motorcycle on School St in Hudson Falls that was speeding. Sitts was the operator and sole occupant of the motorcycle. During the course of the traffic stop, Quinones came out of a home on School St and approached the stopped motorcycle.
She grabbed a bag from the motorcycle, she was ordered to stop and she attempted to flee back into the home. The bag was found to contain heroin, needles and numerous pills. Deputy Jett was assisted at the scene by Hudson Falls Police and Washington County Probation.
Quinones was arraigned in the Village of Hudson Falls Court. She was remanded to the Washington County jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 secure bond. The case is being forwarded to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for review and possible Grand Jury action and possible additional charges.
