INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shasten N. Matthey, age 35 for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th, a class E felony, and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor. A joint investigation between the Hudson Falls Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office alleges that Matthey took a debit card without permission and used it to withdraw money from an ATM. Matthey was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in court at a later date.
