[ARCHIVED] Fort Ann man airlifted with serious injuries after Fort Ann accident

INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED: 

1. Joseph Fusco Sr.     Age: 56   Address: County Route 17 Fort Ann, NY

2. Joseph Fusco Jr.      Age: 26   Address: County Route 17 Fort Ann, NY

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Clay Hill Road in the Town of Fort Ann for a report of a motor vehicle accident with serious personal injury.

Upon initial investigation, it was determined that a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe was being operated by Joseph Fusco Sr. with his son, Joseph Fusco Jr, as a passenger.

Joseph Fusco Sr. was attempting to negotiate a curve in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle causing it roll over. Joseph Fusco Sr. sustained serious injuries and was air lifted to Albany Medical Center by medical helicopter where he remains in serious condition.

Joseph Fusco Jr. was taken to Glens Falls Hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
