INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on August 29, 2019 at 8:43 P.M. , the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an accident involving a farm tractor in a field that had rolled over. 

Upon arrival, deputies determined that a male subject had been operating an International farm tractor in a field when the tractor rolled onto its side and trapped him. The victim was identified as Grant W. Weaver, 48, of McDougall Road and was pronounced dead at the scene by Washington County Coroner Robert Lemieux. 

The incident remains under investigation as Sheriff’s Investigators look into the circumstances and any contributing factors surrounding the accident.
