According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on April 23, 2019, at 6:48 P.M. , the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an accident involving a single motorcycle and one occupant on County Route 113 in the Town of Easton.

Upon arrival, deputies determined that a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Russell D. Berry, 55, of Kabalian Drive in Schenectady, NY, had been traveling northbound on County Route 113 in the Town of Easton.  Berry lost control of the motorcycle, left the roadway into a ditch and was ejected.

Berry was pronounced dead at the scene by Washington County Coroner Robert Lemieux. The incident remains under investigation as Sheriff’s Investigators look into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
