INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED: Christopher M. Lavin, 55, of  North Road Fort Ann, NY.

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office

responded to a report of a personal injury snowmobile accident on February 23, 2019. The accident was

located in the area of County Route 43 in the Town of Kingsbury, and involved a single snowmobile. The

driver of the snowmobile was identified as Christopher Lavin. He was transported to Glens Falls Hospital by

Fort Edward EMS, and later transferred to Albany Medical Center with critical injuries. The investigation is

ongoing.
