[ARCHIVED] Fingerprints left behind lead to burglary arrest

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on Monday, April 6th 2015, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel J. West, age 20, of Melony Lane Hudson Falls. West was charged with burglary in the 2nd degree, a class C felony, grand larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony and criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, a class E felony.

West is accused of breaking a window to gain entry to a home and stealing over $1,000 cash. He was identified after several of his fingerprints were identified at the crime scene. None of the money has been recovered.

West was arraigned in the Town of Fort Edward Court and released on house arrest.
