According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a male subject who had been involved in a domestic dispute and had started a fire.
Upon arrival, deputies located items that had been burned and following an investigation, determined that Brad S. Clark, 42, of Fort Edward had started a fire and burned items belonging to an acquaintance.
Clark had left the scene prior to deputies arriving and turned himself in at the Law Enforcement Center in Fort Edward the following day. Clark was taken to Central Arraignment and later posted bail and was released.
Charges Filed: Arson 5th (Misdemeanor), Criminal Mischief 4th (Misdemeanor) & Aggravated Family Offense (Felony)
Bail: $1,000 CASH/$2,000 BOND
