[ARCHIVED] Man arrested after reporting he was involved in sex crime

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested JAMES S. WALKER, 53, of Hartford for Criminal Sexual Act 3rd, a class E Felony and one misdemeanor count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  An investigation began when WALKER turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office, self- reporting the prior sexual incident. It was determined that WALKER and a female who was under the age of 17 had sexual contact. 


WALKER was remanded to the facility in lieu of $1,000 / $2,000 bail/bond.

Charges Filed: Criminal Sexual Act 3rd (Class E Felony) / Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Misd)
