[ARCHIVED] Hadley man arrested after domestic dispute


According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on January 28, 2018 at about 2:06 AM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hadley man on misdemeanor charges after deputies investigated a physical domestic that occurred on Deer Run Drive in the Town of Kingsbury.

Dillon W. Wendell, 23, was arrested for criminal mischief 4th, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and harassment 2nd after a 911 call was made accusing Wendell of violently throwing a female to the ground and choking her during a domestic dispute. Wendell is also accused of forcibly taking the female’s cell phone from her and smashing it. The female reported minor injuries and didn’t require immediate medical treatment.                                                                                                                                                                        

Wendell was released on his own recognizance after being arraigned at central arraignment court. An order of protection was issued refraining Wendell from having any further contact with the female victim. 

Charges Filed: Criminal Mischief 4th (MISD.), Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation (MISD.) and Harassment 2nd (VIOL.)
