[ARCHIVED] White Creek man charged after accident

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on January 3, 2018, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office charged a White Creek man with driving while intoxicated after investigating a single vehicle crash on Bates Road in the Town of White Creek.

Cody S. Estell, age 26, of White Creek was operating a 2007 Dodge Caravan westbound on Bates Road when he drove off the roadway and struck a tree causing significant damage to his vehicle. 

The force of the impact resulted in Mr. Estell suffering a deep laceration to his head and therefore Cambridge Rescue Squad transported him to the Saratoga Hospital for further treatment.
Based on evidence and admissions Cody S. Estell was subsequently charged with failed to keep right, speed not reasonable and prudent, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. 

A blood sample was secured for further testing for BAC. Mr. Estell is due in White Creek Court on a later date.
