According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on December 31, 2017, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher M. Brown of Third Ave in Fort Edward,  NY.

Deputies were called to Third Ave for a report of a physical domestic. After speaking with the victim, it was determined that during an argument over the care of a dog, Brown grabbed the victim by the throat, causing her to to have difficulty breathing.

Brown then left the scene but returned later and was arrested.  He was taken  to the Law Enforcement Center and processed before being arraigned and released  by the Court. The victim was not seriously injured.
