According to Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Fallon Dingman, 27, of Fort Ann. The arrest is the result of an investigation into a complaint filed by the Washington County Department of Social Services.

Dingman is accused of failing to report her income to Washington County DSS and as a result, for five months in 2016, she collected benefits that she was not entitled to. The total benefits collected exceeds $1000.00.

Dingman was charged with Grand Larceny 4th and released pending prosecution in the Fort Edward Town Court. The Washington County Department of Social Services Fraud Investigation Unit assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
