[ARCHIVED] Fort Ann man arrested after accident

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on December 15, 2017 at about 3:44 pm, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Fort Ann man for driving while intoxicated following a property damage motor vehicle accident in the Town of Fort Ann. Norman H. Wilcox, 25, of East Farm Woods Lane in Fort Ann, drove his 2010 KIA through an intersection and struck a trailer being towed by another vehicle. Wilcox failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested. 

He was processed at the Law Enforcement Center in Fort Edward where he tested a .12% blood alcohol content. Wilcox was taken to central arraignment where he was arraigned and released to appear in the Town of Fort Ann at a later date. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
