[ARCHIVED] Additional charges for Kingsbury man in sex abuse case

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, Robert N Middleton was arrested on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 on a new Indictment warrant issued by the Hon. Kelly S. McKeighan.

Robert N Middleton has been the subject of a lengthy investigation recently and is currently out on bail on a previous eighteen count indictment.

The arrest warrant executed today was the result of an Indictment handed up by the Washington County Grand Jury for one count of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and one count of Compounding a Crime all for a new victim. Robert N. Middleton was arraigned at Washington County Court in front of the Hon Kelly S. McKeighan and released with his bail from the previous Indictment continued.

Additional release conditions were issued by the Hon. Kelly S. McKeighan at today’s arraignment. Robert N. Middleton was advised not to have any communication or contact of any kind with any minors.

Middleton has been known to stay on Quarry Crossing in Kingsbury, New York and at 2036 Scott Street in San Francisco, CA.

The Investigation is continuing as new leads regarding Robert N Middleton have recently been developed. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public.
