[ARCHIVED] 911 Lifesaver Award Issued (Public Safety)

CO Regina Ladd receives a 911 Lifesaver Award

Earlier in 2017, our 911 Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call reporting a medical emergency in the Town of Kingsbury which resulted in a cardiac arrest during the call.

Due to a collaborative joint effort and action by the caller, our Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) and our field partners in EMS, Fire and Law Enforcement, CPR was administered at the scene and ultimately the condition was reversed due to the work of all involved prior to arrival at the hospital.

We had the opportunity to recognize the efforts of the EMD, Communications Officer Regina Ladd for her professionalism and dedication as the Emergency Medical Dispatcher throughout the incident and issue her a “9-1-1 Lifesaver” award and commendation for her work! We’re very proud of the caller, our staff and field partners for the amazing, life changing work they all do!

Communications Officer Ladd was presented with a "911 Lifesaver" service bar and award for her exemplary service.
