[ARCHIVED] Help for Homeless Vets

Help for Homeless Vets

Veterans who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless can call or visit their local VA Medical Center or Community Resource and Referral Center where VA staff are ready to help. Veterans and families can call 1-877-4AID-VET (1-877-424-3838).  VA’s specialized programs for homeless Veterans serve hundreds of thousands of homeless and at-risk Veterans each year. Independently and in collaboration with federal and community partners, VA programs provide Veterans with housing solutions, employment opportunities, health care, justice- and reentry-related services and more. Learn more about these programs below and at VA’s Programs for At-Risk Veterans and Their Families page.

If you are a First Responder, please take the time to ask if the person is a veteran.  Let’s make sure they get the help they deserve.
