[ARCHIVED] Cambridge man arrested after making threats to CPS workers

Boisvert

According to Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Claude J. Boisvert, 45,  of Cambridge. The arrest came after employees of the Washington County Department of Social Services (Child Protective Services Unit) went to the Sheriff’s Office to report threats made to Caseworkers by Boisvert.

Boisvert is accused of telling a worker from Northeast Parent and Child Society that he would “shoot them” and that he had trees notched out along his driveway to drop behind their car, (referring to CPS workers when they came to his house).

Boisvert has been charged with Making a Terrorist Threat, a  class D Felony.  He was arraigned in the Fort Edward Town Court.   Bail was set in the amount of $5,000.00 cash or $10,000.00 bond.   He was remanded to the Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
