[ARCHIVED] Fort Edward man arrested following investigation

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy on Thursday September 29th, 2016 as a result of a several month Investigation the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Fort Edward Police Department arrested Michael A. Mueller (31) of Wing Street in Fort Edward.

He was charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Sale of a Marijuana in the 3rd degree a class E Felony and one (1) count of Criminal Sale of Marijuana in the 2nd degree a class D Felony, one (1) count of Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd degree a class D Felony, one (1) count of Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 4th degree a class A Misdemeanor, and two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 5th degree a class B Misdemeanor a of the New York State Penal Law.

The arrest comes as a result of a Grand Jury Indictment alleging Mueller sold Marijuana during an investigation in the Village of Fort Edward. Mueller was arraigned in Washington County Court and committed in lieu of bail. Bail was set at $2,500 cash bail or $10,000 Bond.

The Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit was assisted during the investigation by the Fort Edward Police Department, New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, New York State Police BCI Queensbury, and the Glens Falls Police Department.
