According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy on Thursday July 14th, 2016, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel J. West, 21, of Kingsbury, charging him with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 4th degree, a class C Felony and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree, a class D Felony of the New York State Penal Law.

The arrest comes as a result of a Grand Jury Indictment alleging West sold Suboxone during an investigation in the Town of Kingsbury.

West was arraigned in Washington County Court and committed in lieu of bail. Bail was set at $10,000 cash bail.

The Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit was assisted during the investigation by the Hudson Falls Police Department and Glens Falls Police Department.
