Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy and District Attorney Jordan announced today that Joshua Bennett was indicted on four counts today including criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell in the third degree, a class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree a class C felony and criminal possession of marihuana.

These charges all arose in connection with an ongoing investigation occurring at the residence where Bennett was residing.

The investigation is being conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the New York State Police Investigation and Forensic Investigation Units.
