According to Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Tylor R. Michaud, 24, of Kingsbury.
The arrest is the result of an investigation into a report of a residential burglary to a Kingsbury home on Friday, June 3, 2016.
Michaud is alleged to have burglarized the home of an acquaintance and stealing between $2000.00 and $3000.00 worth of coins, silver certificates, buffalo nickels, and other rare older currency as well as foreign currency. It is alleged that Michaud entered the home on two separate dates stealing some of the listed property each time. Some of the property has been recovered.
Michaud has been charged with 2 counts of burglary in the second degree a class C felony and 1 count of grand larceny in the 4th degree a class E. Felony.
Michaud was arraigned in the Kingsbury Town Court on Friday night and remanded to the Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $40,000 Cash bail or an $80,000.00 Bond. The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney for review and possible action of the Grand Jury.
