Sheriff’s investigators have developed information regarding a light colored small SUV, possibly a Jeep or Kia Sportage type vehicle, which was directly behind the vehicle that left the scene. This vehicle is not believed to be involved in the accident, however the occupant(s) may have important information regarding the vehicle that left the scene.

Both the vehicle that left the scene and this light colored, small SUV were traveling eastbound towards Greenwich. The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying either of these vehicles. Please call 746-2475 and press option 1.

Sheriff’s investigators are also urging local body shops and parts stores to remain vigilant with customers that may arrive with unexplained front end damage.
