[ARCHIVED] Salem woman arrested, charged with felony

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on Tuesday March 29, 2016, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Karen Robison, 52, of Salem, New York. Robison was charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person in the 1st degree, a class E Felony.

Robison is accused of endangering the welfare of a physically disabled patient of a rehabilitation facility where she was employed as a LPN. Robison is accused of repeatedly pushing the patient into a chair and calling him vulgar names as she showed a friend whom she was video chatting with on her cell phone by turning the video camera on the victim.

Robison was arrested, processed at the Fort Edward Sheriff’s Office and issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Argyle Court on April 12th 2016 at 4 PM. The case is being forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review and possible action of the Grand Jury. Additional charges are possible. The arrest was made by Sr. Inv. Tony LeClaire.
