[ARCHIVED] Sheriff's Office releases new image from burglary

burglary suspect

According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, during the course of the last two months there have been 4 burglaries in the southern part of Washington County. The burglaries have occurred in the Towns of Jackson, Greenwich and White Creek.

These burglaries have occurred between the hours of 9AM and 7PM while the home owners were away from home. The suspects have taken cash, jewelry and medications and forced entry into some of the homes.

Sheriff Murphy would like to warn the residents to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods and to report it to the Sheriff’s Office or NYSP. If observed, try to get as much information as possible such as clothing description, vehicle description and license plates but do not approach the suspects.

We had previously released video of two suspects from one of these burglaries. At this time we are releasing a photo from one of the burglaries that hopefully better depicts what one of the suspects was wearing.

If anyone recognizes this suspect or their clothing or has any information regarding any of these burglaries please contact Investigator Michael McWhorter at 746-2496, Sr. Investigator LeClaire at 746-2492 or they can call our anonymous tip line at 746-2522.
