According to Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Matthew C. Fish,19, of Hudson Falls.
The arrest is the result of an investigation into a burglary that was reported to the sheriff’s office on October 26, 2015, to a tool shed at a private residence located on State Route 4 in the Town of Kingsbury where numerous power tools, air tools, hand tools, a pressure washer, an air compressor, and two B-B guns were stolen.
Fish was also arrested as a result of an investigation into the theft of a 2004 Arctic Cat 4-wheel ATV from a business located on State Route 4 in the Town of Kingsbury that occurred at the same date.
Most of the stolen property including the ATV has been recovered.
Fish has been charged with 2 counts of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree and burglary in the third degree, all felonies.
Fish was arraigned in the Kingsbury Town Court and remanded to the Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500.00 or $5,000.00 bond.
