[ARCHIVED] Inmate charged in contraband case


According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on Tuesday December 8, 2015, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Anthony Pollock, 25, from Fort Edward. Pollock was charged with promoting prison contraband in the 1st degree, a class D felony.

Pollock was found in possession of contraband consisting of suboxone in the Washington County Jail, where he was being housed on previous unrelated charges. Suboxone is a controlled substance that is used to treat those who are dependent on or addicted to opioids.

Pollock was processed and arraigned in the Town of Fort Edward Court and is back in the Washington County Jail. The arrest was handled by Investigator Kristen Hardy.
