INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew A. Moses (34) of Greenwich on the charge of Rape in the 3rd Degree a Class E Felony, Forcible Touching, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor after an investigation into allegations that Moses was having a sexual relationship with a female who was under the age of seventeen over the course of more than a year. Moses was processed and arraigned at the Washington County Centralized Arrignment where he was remanded on bail and was held pending Court appearances in the Town of Greenwich at a later date.
