Two home health care workers charged with felonies

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s arrested two (2) Home Health Care worker(s), Kimberly L. Ouderkerk, age 50, of Hudson Falls, New York and Aireal E. Bailey, age 22, of Queensbury, New York after a joint investigation conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, 

Washington County Adult Protective Services, determined that both were stealing money from a patient under their care in the Town of Kingsbury. Ouderkerk was charged with Attempted Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony, and Bailey, was charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony. 

Ouderkerk was charged after it was determined that she attempted to steal money, exceeding fifty-thousand dollars, and Bailey was charged after she stole money, exceeding three-thousand dollars from the victim. 

Ouderkerk and Bailey were processed and held for arraignment on the charges at Washington County CAP Court. Both were released pending future court appearances in the Town of Kingsbury Court.
