INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED: Damien Beayon Age:37 Address: Whitehall, NY 

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Damien Beayon for Assault in the 2nd Degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, a class D Felony, and Promoting Prison Contraband 1st, a class D Felony after an investigation into an assault that occurred on April 11th, 2023, inside the Washington County Jail. Beayon was found to have assaulted another incarcerated individual and caused physical injury to said individual. Beayon was arraigned in Washington County Centralized Arraignment and will appear in the Town of Fort Edward Court at a later date.
