INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joseph D. Morehouse Jr., 20, for two (2) counts of Burglary in the 2nd Degree, a class C Felony, two (2) counts of Petit Larceny, a class A Misdemeanor, and two (2) counts of Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a class A Misdemeanor after an investigation determined that Morehouse and a second male previously arrested, had unlawfully entered two seasonal residences located on East Green Pond Way in the Town of Hebron. During the Burglaries Morehouse damaged property and stole alcohol from within the residences. Morehouse was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance in Hebron Town Court.
