INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 8:33 AM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a rollover motor vehicle accident with injuries on State Route 4, north of Waite Road in the Town of Kingsbury.
Upon arriving, Deputies located Angel M. Clark, 46, of Whitehall, New York who was trapped in her vehicle. Members from the Kingsbury Fire Department used the jaws of life to extricate her from the vehicle.
Clark had been southbound on State Route 4 when she veered off the roadway causing her vehicle to roll over. Deputies are looking into the possibility that she may have suffered a medical event prior to the accident. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in the accident.
Clark was transported to the Glens Falls Hospital with injuries to the head, neck and chest which are not believed to be life threatening. No citations have been issued however the accident remains under investigation.
A portion of Route 4 was closed for approximately an hour while the accident was cleared.
