[ARCHIVED] Granville man charged with felonies after recklessly firing rifle

INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED: Scott H. Abraham Age: 55 Address: Granville, NY 

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Scott H. Abraham after an investigation into damaged property at two separate residences. Abraham was found to have been recklessly firing a rifle in the area on June 5th, and it was determined that he fired into a camper and a detached garage at a separate property causing significant damage to both properties. No one was injured in the incident. Abraham was arrested and arraigned in Washington County Centralized Arraignment and released on his own recognizance.

 He is scheduled to appear in Granville Town Court on a later date. 

Charges Filed: Criminal Mischief 2nd, Criminal Mischief 3rd, Reckless Endangerment 2nd (2 counts)
