[ARCHIVED] South Glens Falls man arrested in connection with White Creek, Salem crime spree

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brad N. Callanan of South Glens Falls after a Grand Jury Indicted him on multiple charges. It is alleged Callanan burglarized and stole US Currency from Rusty’s Car Wash on State Route 22 in the Town of White Creek on two (2) occasions during the fall of 2021, totaling over $1000.00. It is also alleged that Callanan stole property from the Dollar General Store on State Route 22 in the Town of White Creek around the same time period. Callanan is also accused of stealing a wallet containing multiple Credit and Debit Cards from a vehicle at the Dollar General on State Route 22 in the Town of Salem. Callanan was arrested in the City of Mechanicville in possession of the stolen Credit Cards. Callanan was brought to Washington County Court and arraigned on the Warrant. Callanan is held at the Saratoga County Jail on other charges. Callanan is supervised by Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
