INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s arrested Oliver Lovera for Sex Abuse in the First Degree, a Class D Felony, Forcible Touching, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Endangering the Welfare Of A Child Less than 17 years old, a Class A Misdemeanor. Lovera is accused of having sexual contact with two females, under the age of eleven, who he was familiar with, on multiple occasions, over the course of several years, and while residing in the Town of Kingsbury.

The incidents of the sexual contact were just recently reported to the Sheriff’s Office after being disclosed by the victims. Lovera was processed and held for arraignment on the charges at Washington County CAP Court, where he later posted bail and was released. Lovera is due back in the Town of Kingsbury Court at a later date.
