INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, on Thursday May 27th, 2021, at approximately 9:17 pm Sheriff’s Deputies responded to State Route 22 in the Town of Jackson for a single vehicle accident.

The vehicle was operated by Amanda I. Northshield, 30 years old, of Salem, New York. It was determined the vehicle involved left the roadway and overturned several times. Northshield, the sole

occupant was ejected from the vehicle. Northshield was transported by the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad and flown by Lifenet to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
