INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, Kristopher R. Burch was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, a class E Felony. It’s alleged that Burch contacted a female he was familiar with that was in violation of an Order of Protection which was in place protecting the female from any type of contact from Burch. 

Burch was arraigned in the Town of Fort Edward Town Court and committed to the Washington County Jail in lieu of bail.
