INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s arrested Darcie L. Christiansen, age 48, for Grand Larceny in the Second Degree. Christiansen was charged after a joint  investigation by the Washington County District Attorney’s Office and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office found that Christiansen did steal $160,687.55 from an estate that she was the Executor of. Christiansen was arraigned at Washington County Centralized Arraignment and released pending further court appearance in the Town of Fort Edward Court.
