INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s recently arrested two subjects responsible for several larcenies that occurred in August 2020.
The arrests stem from a joint investigation with the New York State Police – Queensbury and the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, who determined that Leslie F. Allen Jr., age 38 and Krista S. Jenkins, age 25, stole several chainsaws from Falls Farm and Garden, located on Dix Ave. in the Town of Kingsbury in August 2020.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested Allen Jr. for Grand Larceny 3rd degree, a class D Felony; and Jenkins was arrested for Grand Larceny 4th, a class E Felony. Allen, who is currently being held in Saratoga County Correctional Facility on unrelated criminal charges, was arraigned in the Town of Kingsbury Court and remanded in Saratoga County. Jenkins was arraigned in Central Arraignment Proceedings and released pending future court dates.
