FAQ's

Will the County replace my mailbox that was knocked down by a County Snow Plow?
Washington County DPW will replace mailboxes of residents along County Roads IF the mailbox was installed to the standards outlined by USPS and AASHO AND the mailbox was physically hit with a piece of County equipment, ONLY.

Mailboxes knocked down by snow, slush, or objects plowed from the road will NOT be replaced.

Guidelines for installation of mailboxes are published by The United States Postal Service (USPS) and American Association of State Highway Officials (AASHO).
