The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is a full service law enforcement agency, which provides many services to the residents and visitors of Washington County, New York. These include:

Locations
Law Enforcement Center
Currently we operate out of the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) located in Fort Edward. We have a sub-station in Salem which is located on State Route 22 in the Town of Salem. The Station is fully equipped and linked to all data bases and systems to the Fort Edward Law Enforcement Center through fiber optics.

Salem Station
The Salem station was opened in May of 2007 and replaced the old station located in the Village Of Salem. The Salem Sub Station was dedicated to Lt. Donald J. Nassivera.
